The people in the Gulf region have experienced a range of challenges, most notably Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and now the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.  The physical and economic damage is very real, and there are many organizations working tirelessly to help provide relief.

But even after the physical damage is repaired, many people will be find themselves in a place of emotional pain and despair, facing an uncertain future.  Our mission is to reach out to individuals and communities that have been hardest hit by these events, and to provide material, educational and inspirational resources, to help people not just heal, but to create a new beginning in their lives.
